Splitting headches with bloody nose are very frequent problem and quite frustrating.. Please see you doctor to discuss the amount and intensity of the headaches because there may be treatment available. Headaches can occur for many different reasons. Allergies, migraines and problems with vision are three of the most common reasons. Migraines in adults are described as one side of the head, problems with light or noise, pounding and sometimes vomiting.
Stress, too little sleep, not enough sleep, menstrual periods, and certain foods can all trigger migraines. The treatments can be discussed with your doctor and depends on how frequent they are. Allergies are often associated with chronic runny nose, headaches, watery itchy eyes or itchy throat and sometimes more frequent bloody noses.
Symptoms may vary depending on how much exposure someone gets. For example it is worse if you are allergic to grass and you go mow the lawn. There are many good treatments for allergies including changing behaviors and home environment, antihistamines and nasal steroids.
Brain tumors &Aneurysm would not be a major concern with headaches even with a family history, but other serious problems can cause bloody noses so please see your doctor.
Other cases of these headches may incude sinus type headches which are worse in the morning as the mucus had been collecting and fdraining all night. Sudden changes in temperature; like going out into the cold from a warm room.
Vit B12 deficiency. OTC meds can sometimes aggravate your husband's headaches. Have you checked his blood pressure? Hypertension or high blood pressure can cause headaches. Frequent headaches are ominous sign sof impending strokes.
You shouldn't worry too much for the sake of your baby. The Cat Scan will definitely ruled out for any growths. I just had this done for frequent migraines and dizziness. .

Don't worry! Everything will be fine, I'm sure. My husband had horrible headaches and would wake up less rested than in the day. We went to the doctor and had his spine checked with exras (because he was very physically active). We found out that it was just a slipped disk and after some meds and a chiropractor he's fine. The nose bleeds could be anything from sinus infections, dehydration in the sinuses, or even dryness in his nose from weather changes.
Again, its good for the doctors to check, especially since you want to know its not something serious. Don't worry, that will only upset you and the baby. Be calm, relax, and give your hubby a big hug. You both need it! =)

Take some deep breaths, sit back, and relax for a moment. Just because his brother experienced something does not mean he will.
I'm no doctor, but IMO it could be sinus. I've had sinus problems that gave me headaches and a bleeding nose.
I understand your concerns and fears, but until you know something for certain, worrying serves no purpose. Focus on the outcome of the tests being in his and your favor. Right now, that is the best thing you can do for yourself, him, and your baby.
Bless your heart. Good luck.

Lets look toward Sinus & Allergies.
They can really be bad at this time of year and cause lots of problems.
Make sure he gets his scans next week and best of luck with the new baby when it arrives.
