There's an old country song (sung by a woman,) and it goes something like...
" and one of these days you folks are gonna see the rain..."
Anyone have any idea what it is?

Sounds like "Lizzie and the Rainmaker" by Tanya Tucker.
OOPS! I just looked it up, it's "Lizzie and the Rainman."

She was still in her teens when she recorded that song. She had a mature sounding voice that made her seem older than she actually was.
