Your husband should not have women friends you do not know about and are not part of the friendship. It's the "forsaking all others part of his marriage vows." He called her in secret, right? Were they long calls? More than 2 or 3 minutes to just ask a quick question? This is suspicious. Did he explain when, where, and how they met? Did she? Has he been spending much time away from you?Have you checked his email? Find out who she is, where she works, lives, who her friends and relatives are, etc - everything you can
Think about possibly inviting the husband's friend and her to dinner to you can meet the mystery woman. Do you know him?
Or, consider inviting the mystery woman to tea (I wouldn't waste lunch on her) and telling her you know what's going on and telling her to call your husband in front of you (so you know its over) and not to contact your husband in any manner whatsoever or you will tell her parents, relatives, friends, husband, boyfriends, work, minister, church, what a whore she is. That will put social pressure on her. Save the phone bills and all the data you collect, you may need it for divorce court. Watch where money and time is going.
Quietly, watch the situation, monitor what you can and read the book, "Divorce Busters" for great ideas on how to handle it.
Joy to you!!!

Yes you are an idiot if you believe him. Women and men can never be friends. A wife is suppose to be a friend and the female in his life. Watch the movie When Harry Met Sally. He is not telling you everything. The guy that he works with will cover for him and say that the woman is dating him, in reality she is dating your husband. Kick him to the curb. I hate guys like him and I really hate women who will date or call a married man..please ladies start being a friend instead of an enemy. Its hard enough being a woman much less other women chatting on the phone with another woman's husband.

How often do they talk and for how long. Also, ask how he knows this woman and tell him you would like to meet her.
If they are talking alot and for long periods, I don't think you really don't know the answer to that. Don't let him make you feel stupid for thinking something is going on. My husband tried that and it was someone from church. It got out of hand to say the least. Started out as innocent, but really didn't end that way.
Good luck!

Maybe. I will just say this -- everytime I have saw something that wasn't right, or sensed something that wasn't right (involving my husband), I was right -- even when he tried to convince me that he was telling the truth. Men will lie until the very end. Men or women will actually. Go with your first mind.

yeah , he wants you to be his idiot to believe this. he is your husband therfore respect towards you by letting go the crap that bothers you as this. it really is that simple but they struggle with there macho crap and control trips that they will not remember what being a husband means. as far as i am concerned there shouldnt be another woman calling him especially that is not in your cirlce as a couple if he is married. hello.
