I've had my license for many years but still take a bus& train to get to work. Driving in the city takes too long to go not far enough.

You can travel in the city pretty much 24 hrs/day so you don't miss a car that much. You don't have to move your car so the street can be cleaned and you don't have to worry abou parking tickets.

No. The last public transportation I rode when I was in college. I went to Appalachian State, and there was this bus that used to go around campus called the "Applecart." I thought it was a cute play on words.

I have a car but I ride the bus when I am going downtown. I save on parking and we walk everywhere when we are downtown so by the time we'd hit all our spots, we'd be a mile and a half from the car when you can catch a bus on every other corner. Plus it is far from my house. Save on gas too.
