Whether it will or not there is still around 45 days left. First, lets think about:
* - India's home series against Pakistan starting with 5 ODIs
* - India plays Pakistan at home for 2 tests
* - Australia plays Sri Lanka in 2 tests

Yes, he will break the record but he will never be recognized as anywhere near as great a bowler as Warne.
Most of Murali's wickets have been against teams like Zimbabwe & Bangladesh. Warne has got his wickets against the top cricketing nations - not the minnows like Murali has.
Plus the ICC (with Asian voting numbers) changed the rules to allow Murali to continue throwing the ball instead of bowling it!

While Australia will try their best to deny that opportunity to Murali, he will defenitely break the record of Warne during Australian tour.

I don't think that he will. I know that he only needs a fistful of wickets but I believe that the pressure of trying to brak the record, the aussie crowd giving him heaps and the determination of the aussie team will stop him.
I can't see any aussie batter's throwing away thier wicket to Murali. I think that they will just see him ogg and destroy the rest of their attack.
