I have had my period for almost three weeks now, and I don't know if this is normal or how long this is going to take for it to stop. Can anyone help?

When I first got on the pill, I had spotting for the entire first month. It was really annoying. I bought some "light days" panty liners.

Make sure to take it at the same time each day. That will reduce some of the side effects you're experiencing.
I take mine first thing in the morning. I get up at the same time everyday so that works for me.

And you are on what type of birth control? The brand would be good information :)

Talk to your doctor, I don't think periods should last more than two weeks.

Depending on what type of birth control you are on, this could be normal.
