not at all. i'm not easy to offend.. but i consider it just a phrase, and generally the person saying it doesn't intend it to be offensive.

No, I don't get offended because those people have already shown an appalling lack of originality.
On the other side I DO get offended when people talking about driving a bargain, say they "Jewed a customer/salesman/whoever" the Hebrew deserve better than that. It's the same when people speak of "Gypping another" the Egyptians deserve better, too.

i am a lesbian, and my friend's and i say "that's gay number 2"... but that is more of an inside joke.. But if someone say's "she's gay", that is how we distinguish the difference. I would stay on the safe side and not say it, you may offend someone... just as african-americans tend to say the N word to each other, and i would never say that... it's kind of like take back the night!
although i technically think it's hypocritical that people can say chink, polack, ****, etc... let's see if those words get bleeped out!!

Personally, I don't really take offense to it. While I am a lesbian, I just think sometime people should try not to take things so seriously.
Do all women get upset when someone calls a punk a "p*ssy"? No... I like to choose my battles and that one's not worth choosing.

I'm gay and sometimes I get offended by it. Kind of stereotyping or even insulting. It depends upon who said it and they said it. But still it's offensive. What if i say, "That's straight!"(pertaining to stupidity.)? would it be that offensive??

Some people do, some people don't. I personally take the words "fag, ******, queer" things like that to be hateful words. Gay isn't a hateful word in my opinion. For most people I believe it would be like using the N word. Not a very good/polite thing to do AT all

Its the context of it which is offensive. It is to suggest being being gay is synonymous with stupid, dumb, etc. Its overt homophobia. I personally find the phase that's so gay to be offensive.

I wouldn't say that I get offended, but it is irritating. It's just a stupid fad like saying "that's hot". It's all rubbish and childish.
