Both. I write checks for certain bills. I use my debit card as a credit when shopping in different stores.

Debit. Checks are like 8 track cassettes.
Drives me nuts if I'm in line at the store and someone is writing a check. Lordy!

My bank card unless i am paying my rent or utility bill. alot of places are now using a check like a debit card ,as in they scan your account number and than you get the check back.

Yes, I write checks.
But I believe that there is a definite trend/push by financial institutions and or retailers etc to get people to use debit cards. I would not be suprised to live to see our society go totally computerized.
