I am 5'5
My hips are 37inchs
and my waist is 24 inches.
my chest is 36inches..
are my hips disproportionate since they are so much bigger then my waist?

Most women's hips are a bit bigger than their bust, if not a lot bigger.
The fact that your waist is 13 inches smaller than your hips just makes you look curvy, cause bust is almost same size.
It also make you less likely to develop diabetes.
You have a very good set of measurements for your height.

You seem fine dear. An ideal hip to waist ratio in women is .80. You get this by dividing waist measurment by hip measurement. Keep in mind that a waist over 35 inches for a woman is considered unhealthy regardless of ratio. This is just a guideline. Hope this makes you feel better!

Alot of women in society today think that looking like a straight board is where it is at. Fact is, curves, hips and less of a waist compared to your hips is very attractive and sexy. Look at the women from years back and you will see. Stay the way you are.
