yes. I make fudge every holiday season. It's always wonderful and my extended family really looks forward to it. I tried a new recipe a couple months ago and it was hard as a rock! Took it to a friend's house as a little host gift. I was SO embarrassed when he tried to cut it.

I QUICKLY went back to the old recipe!!!

OH yha years back when I was freshly new in the divorce end, I couldn't even cook water without screwing it up. Now 7 yrs latter I enjoy the art of cooking and I'm pretty dam good at it too. It's not so much as a science but a knowledge of herbs and or spices. Add in the love to cook and you can do it all.
Try out making you own bread, now that's a good recipe for a cook ( no Bread machine ) cheaters use those. Just a note from your friendly Chef Blah

Yep, tried to barbecue some Cornish Game Hens. Tasted, as my wife put it, "like refugees from a forest fire". They were pretty bad.
