B = 3s²t

Just divide both sides by 3s²:
B / 3s² = t

t = B / 3s²

If you want to solve for t, then you must move everything that is not "t" to the other side of the equal sign. But how do you move something to the other side? You must do the opposite operation. Adding becomes subtracting, multiplying becomes dividing, and vice versa.

B=3s^2t

I first want to move the 3 over to the other side. It is multiplying, so the opposite of that must be dividing. So, divide both sides by 3.

B/3=(3s^2t) / 3 The 3's on the right cancle out.
B/3 = s^2 t

Next, I want to move the s^2 to the other side. It is multiplying, so the opposite must be dividing. Divide both sides by s^2.

B/ (3s^2) = t

I'll assume that you put brackets in the correct place... otherwise, if it were s^(2t) you would need to use logarithms to isolate for it, and I doubt you're learning that in 7th grade.

t = B/(3s^2)

howd those people make that 2?
cant really get a number for t
u can put it in terms of b and s.
cant get anywhere with that!
idunno. im only in 7th grade like u. i wish my problems were that hard. the hardest weve gotten this year is like:
