I am 5'11" which I think is great.
I was working today, and this man comes up to me and asks me how tall I am. Then with his nose scrunched up he goes-thats too tall for a girl-and walks away. How mean was that!! It makes me wonder-do a lot of people think this way?

the correct answer is "sorry im too much for you to handle. you can stand on a chair if that makes you feel better." be sure to bend over to be face to face with him, and pat him on the head.
if you have the "you know whats" a comment about being able to wrap your legs around him twice works too.
in other words, he is a jerk. ignore him. he knows you would never date him, because you would be afraid of stepping on him, so he makes fun of you.
im 5' 6". chased a 6' girl once, didnt catch her though.

I hate to say it, but this guy is a loser. I am a man, a grown up adult man, and I am only 5'3", I bet he would say that I am too short for a guy. That guy had no business saying that,

be happy with the way you are, everybody is different, and there are disadvantages and advantages of being tall and being short. I am glad you think its great that you are 5'11".
Personally, I tend to find tall women attractive, I don't know how old you are though.

I'm quite tall (6-3) so naturally I was in the market for a taller woman/woman substitute. For people who are interested, the way to do this is lurk around an endocrine disorder clinic and chat up the pituitary gland disease chicks as they leave. I picked myself up a nice 7-4 lady last week, and with a little encouragement she is now pulling a plow for me at my country estate (Chateau K-MAC). Really cut down on my veterinary bills.

He's obviously an @ss... 5'11 is a great height... I'm 5'9....
Too tall for a woman would be like... 7' because life expectancy goes down to like 30 years.

If there is a height requirement, then it's just a carnival ride and you don't want to spend too much time with those Carney's at the side show. I think 5'11 is great too. I'm 6'3", and even though I always have to change people's lightbulbs for them, I'm happy with it too.

I couldn't help but notice a girl the other day because I thought she was very attractive. She was probably 6'1" or 6' 2". Don't worry about that jackass, maybe you're just too much woman for him. 5'11" is fine!

Nothing is too tall. He's just killing your ego cause he's too short for the ladies.
Take a look at Yao Ming. If he's able to pick up chicks, then you're okay.
