I just got an xbox 360 and i dont want to spend $100 dollars on the 360 wireless adapter. I often take my xbox 360 over to my friends houses and they have wireless internet. Is it easy to change wireless connections? if you could answer this soon it would be greatly apprieciated.

The original Xbox wireless adapter will work with the Xbox 360.. it connects to the Xbox 360s ethernet connection..

I was searching around for more information and I found this: (from link below)
the original xbox wireless adapter DOES work on the 360 because that's what I use because I was too cheap to buy the new small white one. BTW you don't need to install the drivers like you did on the original xbox. It's pretty much plug and play.

check out the second link for Microsoft instructions to update the MN-740 (original Xbox wireless adapter) firmware to work better with the Xbox 360..

Unfortunatly, if you want wireless, you'll have to invest in the 360 adapter, not the original xbox one. If you have a laptop, with wireless connectivity, you could bridge the connection, but you'll have to do your own research on that. You can usually find good deals on eBay, or some online stores put them on sale every now and then.

I've heard both yes and no, lol, like these 2 guys, so I'm not sure, but the laptop bridge does work, the only thing is it kinda slows things down.
