How would you feel if your husband convinced them that you were treating him wrong and that friend you knew for a long time stopped speaking to you?

That has just happened to me in the last month...

I was sad for a couple of days and then realized the friendship was not what I thought it was if they (there were 3 of them and we all hung out together) would dump me.
Also, I ASKED them NOT to choose sides, to be friends with both of us-- and on top of that, I had to get a restraining order against my soon to be ex for his violent temper-- and they still chose him.
Oh well. Their loss.

I would feel betrayed... and duped. Because anyone that would do that, was NEVER your friend to begin with... you got fooled. No shame on you, shame on that person... and Karma will get your paybacks for you.

I would feel them totally in the wrong, especially if they were exclusively my friend first. He/she would no longer be my friend.

i lost friends in a divorce and it didnt bother me at all. they felt they had to pick. good lesson for me, they werent true friends.

I'd be pissed. A real friend wouldn't do that.
