I am really worried. I have never had this happen. I started a whole month ago. Why would all of a sudden my hormones get all out of whack? I am a 34 y.o woman. He put me on Progesterone because I cant take the birth control pill which also has estrogen in it because of borderline high blood pressure and other risk factors. Progesterone is given for unusual uterine bleeding but why would my hormones be out of control in the first place? Has anyone ever had this happen. Im scared

It's a pretty common problem> Usually hormonal, but sometimes (esp in older women) it can be due to fibroids. Try not to worry and give the Progesterone a chance to balance your hormone levels. Just be "prepared" whenever you go any place since it make occur at times you're not expecting

i had this after i gave birth to my first child.it went on for 4 months my doctor did a d&c and still i bled.he said it was a hormonal imbalance caused by a shot i was given after i gave birth to dry up my breast milk,i was not going to breast feed.i should have --the milk came in any way!!! he put me on birth control pills.i took them for two weeks and quit cause my husaband was mad that i was on the pill,he wanted me to get pregnant again so he could have a son more importantly a child of his own ,my first child he knew was not his because we were not a couple when i got pregnant.( i was going to marry my fiancee but i left him when he got drunk and high and he raped me and beat me severly) i stopped taking the pill cause we were married and i thought i would probably get pregnant in a couple of years cause it took that long after i lost my first baby, but i got pregnant within a couple of weeks!have you had children? if not get a second opinion and make sure you get your pap test!good luck!
