I've had this happen to me before. If you truly care about them you would let them be with who ever they want to be with. EVEN IF IT'S NOT YOU!!! If you truly care you would see that what makes them happy is best. And who knows maybe one day the one they pick will be you!

I think it depends on the situation. But if I were you and I really liked someone, then I'd want them to be happy, even if it really hurt me. Then again, it's up to you to decide what actions you decide to take. Just let that certain someone know how you feel first before you get too ahead of yourself.

There's a saying...If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it is, and always will be, yours. If it doesn't return, it was never yours to begin with. You can't force someone to love you, so if that person wants to leave, let them go. If they come back, it was meant to be. But if they don't, then they have moved on and you should too.

Well that all depends. I mean, if they are hell bent on being with someone else, regardless of how you feel about them, it's time to let them go.
I'd fight for my man, but only if I know it's not a fruitless situation....I'm not going to put myself out there just to make myself look foolish....

As hard as it may seem..you need to let the person make themselves happy. If you care then they will see that and will probably have more love and respect for you than b4 for letting them go. Its hard...i know

When I fall inlove, I'm too selfish to be happy to see her with someone else. I'll try my best, but of course if she doesn't wants it, I can't force her, I don't want it to be forced either.
I'll let her go, but I will never, ever be happy about it. That's something I cannot do.

Wow, for some reason this made me think of the Notebook when Noah was practically telling Ally that it would be in both of their best interest to separate even though they loved each other. gosh, I love that movie!
