Who else agrees that Steve Francis can take Luther Head and Rafer Alston spots on the Houston Rockets rotation

Question

Luther and Rafer have been playing like crap and Francis can be a key player in the rotation. Mike James is doing good and I think him and Francis should be the top 2 PGs

I definitely agree. I was really excited when I heard that he was coming back to Houston, but I've been disappointed that he hasn't gotten any playing time yet.

Francis would probably be a better option than Alston if he was in tip-top physical condition, which he isn't right now. You saw last year how ineffective Bonzi was, and that was because he didn't make a commitment to get in top shape. Francis is not however a replacement for Head's minutes because Luthur is a better outside shooter and a much more energetic defender than Francis will ever be again. You have to realize that the Stevie Franchise we all remember is not the same player anymore. If he were in shape, he'd be better than Alston because he's stronger and more of a threat to score. But at this point, he'd do more damage than good.

They already tried Steve Francis once in Houston, problem is, he's not a point guard, and they found that out.

Alston is decent, but unless they run, and they aren't going to, it's McGradys team.

francis may be better in a one on one game against either alston or head, but that's not what the team need from a point guard.
