I'm definately shocked. To me, she isn't the type of person to take drugs at all. Plus, she's always been true to her words and has been completely honest. The committee apparently can't even prove that the urine sample is hers right now.

Also, i heard from a friend in Europe that if you took Tylenol 3 in Europe, there is a substance that will make you test positive for cocaine even when you didn't take it.. I totally believe that she is 100% innocent. It's so sad to see her retire again.. but especially in this way..

No. I can't believe it. Shocked....should have been my reaction, but I guess I have become numb because of all the scandals plaguing sports nowadays.

I truly feel sorry for Martina Hingis. I sincerely hope that it isn't true, and I hope that the media and the public view her as innocent until facts prove otherwise.

I can imagine that she did use cocaine. It was funny what she said: I feel not guilty. Would you say something like this if you had been accused of using cocaine? I would say: I'm innocent and I have never used cocaine. It's fishy...

If anyone believes that she used it for performance enhancement, that's just crazy.

Who knows - maybe she was partying with the tennis crowd and someone gave her drink or food laced with cocaine. It could happen very easily.

However, it seems suspect that she would just retire rather than fight it to clear her name.

She has denied it, and unless proven guilty she has to be given the benefit of the doubt.

It's a sad state in sports that you can be suspended just because you were accused, and only when you're proven not guilty can you suspension be lifted. That is really sad. Essentially you're guilty until proven innocent.
