Go for it when you feel it and when you can do it.
I'm 31 , I went back to college this year , I start as well a second course by distance, I'm making a second baby , work 50 hours a week and paying a mortgage.
If I'll do it or not , I don't care , the only thing that I care is that, my daughter and the next one will be always ok and that I'm enjoying and doing very hard to do it .
If I fail, I'll try latter, so never give up for what you want.

No one can stop you from achieving your dreams except yourself. Hardships and challenges are all part of striving for something we really want. Take time to contemplate on how you see yourself 5 years for now. Pray for enlightenment! (Believe me, this will help)
1. Is it having a family and settling down?
2. Is it pursuing a career as a nurse?
You have to know your priorities and what's important to you. Explore all possibilities for you to determine what will really make you happy. Sometimes we just have to take time and appreciate all the blessings we have. Maybe then you can realize that at 27 - you have not found the right partner yet. Patiently wait and keep on praying!

I'm 23 yrs old. I'm a structural engineering student. I'm not 100% sure what I want career wise although I'll soon have a diploma that will open many doors. That's one aspect of my life that's not too important to me. What's most important to ME is to one day marry and start a family. I don't want this right NOW. But ultimately, that's my greatest goal in life and I think it's that "more" you may be looking for. But I may be wrong. Just trying to help. Good Luck.

Set goals and objectives. Make a clear realistic timeline for when you hope to accomplish them.
You are 27 and you're not going to get any younger. Do you want to waste the rest of your prime years being wishy washy? "Grounding yourself" is flufftalk for procrastinating. If you feel that you're more than an auxiliary, then do something about it.

education... study what you enjoy... try your best to be in a career you enjoy, and most other things will fall into place.
if it helps... I am a guy, so no real advice on the backing off thing, but in terms of nurses... I love and admire them! after being with my wife through the delivery of two kids, and my own experiences with surgeries and recovery, I cant say I admire any profession more. I hope you stick with it, as we need you!
and, relationships come when you least expest, so continue to follow your own dreams and the rest, again, will happen. best to you!

go for something that you are passionate about. I went for my teaching degree because it will be rewarding and I love children. I went for something that I knew I would love to do even when i was old. They have programs at schools to help find the best career for you. Good luck

You've got to climb your dream step by step, slowly and steadily. If training is needed, be trained accordingly.
People who are successful don't fly, they slogged for their success.
