Since second world war - which was won incidentally by the Sowjet Union, the USA merely bombed cities and dropped two atom bombs on defenseless civilians - this so called superpower has done nothing but causing trouble. It handed half of Europe to the Communists, nearly lost a war in Corea, lost a war in Vietnam (after murdering one million civilians), mishandled the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (that is the occupation by Israel of land that belongs to the Palestinians) and now completely ****** up in Iraq. As an economic and industrial power the USA are already second rate and they know that. So their defeat in Iraq isn't amazing at all.

Historically. the afgans and the iraqis have always been strong enough to defeat invaders.
The tactic of guerilla warfare will usually defeat invaders. Surely Vietnam has not faded from the minds of the US military.
Didn't The original 13 colonies use the same tactic against the British?
I guess the lessons of history have not been learned.
Instead of making enemies why not make friends by helping, not killing people

Yes, we can win this war.
Here is how it is done.
Kill every threat to the US Soldier with out any mercy,
every time.
No rules of engagement, shoot and kill.
Give me 50 thousand men without rules, and this war
will be over.
The only thing Saddam Hessian understood in his life
was the thing these people understand is horror.
He brought peace to that country.
War is hell.
Hell does not have people telling you what to do, hell is hell.
To prove my point, is you ever get there, ask for ice cream.
The Iraq war is a pointless game with no end because the rules of engagement at favored by the enemy.
There was another war that suffered the same fate as this one.
This war is called "The war of independence."
What do you think your own country used to gain independence?
The same as al queda.
Gorilla.
So, when your drinkin that cofamocolatosepuree... at starbucks and telling your pal what a barbarian I am.
You would be speakin differently now without horror.
"How B'out tea now. Those Frenchees in Loisiana cook
some bloody stunning fish, do they not?"

You have to be an Iraqi, right? "Freedom fighters" where in heck did you coin that. When Saddam was killing hundreds of your fellow citizens, what did you call yourselves then, and did you show yourselves?
Yes, we will soon begone from your dried up pile of dog crap you call a country and then, like Cambodia (the killing fields) and 'Nam (communists) North Korea (the starving going on) you will be added to the list of failures, like Cuba and now Chavez and,Argentina.
People, like the Germans during WW2 will only listen for so long, then revolt. Your time is coming.

I have answered a similar question before Its easy to beat an army that has a country as a base with solders in uniform. Its very difficult to beat people who walk around in civilian clothes, and mingle with the innocent population, who are prepared to kill themselves in their own cause. Even the Russians failed in Afghanistan. It took the British years to beat the IRA which was a small organization. Hope this helps a little

We should have never invaded Iraq in the first place and as a result, we have lost our status in the World. Money equals war for some and the big two are Bush and Cheney. That's it in a nutshell.

I could see you are ignorant by your reference to "Freedom Fighters" in the question.
We could win if we took the gloves off so to speak. That would mean door-to-door shoot first ask questions later tactics. We should have done that to start with, but it is too late for that now. Now we have to stay until the Iraqi government is capable of handling things by themselves. I guess by your logic this means they will be fighting their own "Freedom Fighters."

People who invest in 'war' related investments like missiles, artillery, arms etc, make more money the longer a war goes on. All GWs buddies are war mongers - they profit from war.
As well, all the 'new' pipelines to get oil out of Iran arent complete yet...so the war moves on!

That sure sounds sypathetic to the so called "Freedom fighter's cause", its rather obvious that you are intent on causing dissent against American foreign policy here. Your remarks are inflamatory to the multi-national troops and their efforts to combat the terrorists who are bullying innocent Iraqi and Afgani citizens. Those so called Freedom Fighters of yours are going around and burining down music shops and telling children they cannot fly kites. Tell me that isn't right?
For your information, the insurgents in Iraq are a bunch of foreigners, mostly Muslim mercenaries from Uzbekistan, Bosnia, and Saudi Arabia who fight like cowardly cockroaches and are hired from Saudi and Iranian interests to cause trouble for Coalition troops.
The Taliban in Afganistan are not Freedom Fighters, they want to impose their oppressive religious beliefs on the rest of the people. They are uneducated zealots who are similar to a religious mafia who, with funding by the opium trade, go around Afganistan causing trouble in the tribal areas harassing innocent people and telling men they can't shave. Those Freedom fighters then go around and burn down barber shops and threatening death to barbers who shave male customers. Those so called Freedom fighters are also killing their fellow Muslim citizens for their religious beliefs.
If you did ANY research, you would see the U.S. economy is not going downhill. Go to any U.S. mall on a weekend and you will see that Americans are spending plenty.
As a world superpower, America had the responsibility to remove the genocidal maniac Hussein from Iraq.
Whats taking so long is that American forces have had to fight with an incredible amount of restrictions and little support. Without a full commitment of resources to a battle, it will protract. As is the case in those 2 areas of operation. IF the U.S. withdrew, it would signal to the Islamic fascists that America lacks resolve and that isin't gonna happen.
God Bless America!

You need to read up a little more. The US has crushed all opposition. Why do you think the Taliban and murderers in Iraq spend their time dressed as civilians, planting hidden bombs, and murdering police officers? Because they get smashed every time they try to take on soldiers.
