For those who think you need help with "grammer" and spelling:

it's 'grammar' not 'grammer' -- get your grammar correct before you correct other people's grammar. ☺

Read and write a lot - that's all that will help. There are no shortcuts.

Most likely, your friend payed more attention in school when the English teachers taught the difference between "RIGHT" and "WRITE". So, write to your friend and ask what is the right way to write.

Also, your question is ridiculous. Your writing reveals the writing ability of someone who has no idea of how to write! So, how can YOU have any credibility in the evaluation of your 8th grade friend's ability to write like a college professor?

Your implication that an 8th grader can write as well as a college professor is also an insult to college professors.

So, in the mean time, finish 8th grade ... learn how to spell correctly ... graduate from high school ... graduate from college ... get a masters degree and then earn a doctoral degree. After you've done all of that, do what you can to become an associate professor at a college. After you've taught for three to ten years at the college level, see if the college will grant you a full professorship.

THEN, go back and look at your friend's writing skills and let us all know if you still think your friend writes like a college professor.

In the mean time, play another video game.

If you look at your writing right now it is horrible. I am sorry to say. Here's what it would be if it was accurate.

How do I write like a college professor?
Help me please. My friend and I are in 8th grade. She already writes like a college professor. She uses large vocabulary words. How did she get this good? How does she write like a college professor?

Seriously, you need to work hard because of what you wrote for your question is horrible. I am really sorry. 8th graders are so odd. Grow up please and learn how to talk.

Good luck! Hope I helped!

First of all, I rather doubt that she's already at a college level, although it may seem that she's ahead of most people you know. A lot of it is pure talent and studying. She probably has a natural affinity for using a larger vocabulary, using grammar correctly, and spelling, which all just comes naturally for some people. I, for example, can spot a lot of spelling mistakes a mile away, but my friend can't spell to save her life.

A huge hunk is also determination and studying. I cannot stand using blatantly obvious grammar mistakes or misspellings, and therefore try to know what I am doing and study so that I don't make them. Just pay attention in English class, and pretty soon your writing will develop more.

first of all, please edit the spelling of the word 'write' in your question because that is one rule you have to always remember when you want to write excellently. here are some tips i learned that might help:
1. check your spelling and grammar all the time. there is a tab ms word that checks your grammar and spelling. this helps a lot.
2. write short and simple sentences. just drive home the point asap because you are not writing a novel. this will also prevent the person reading your letter from being bored. the attention span of an average person, according to what i read before, is 15 seconds only.
3. press SHIFT+ F7 when writing in ms word to check thesaurus for better and more appropriate words. just remember not to use highfalutin words. your aim in writing is to communicate not to impress. once the person reading your letter gets your point in writing, he or she will surely be impressed.
good luck.

I think if your are seeking to "right" like a Professor, you
may need to start learning the English language.

Don't let the big words fool you. Be yourself.

Life is not competition with others. You compete with yourself.

Find and understand a big word to use for yourself.

Then use it and see if the person your speaking of understands it.

Funny, big words make people feel superior to you, but in
the end.

We all pee in a toilet.

How superior can they be?

You don't "right" like a college professor. You "write" like a college professor!

"Right" means correct.
"Write" means to write something, as in communicate.

I won't even attempt to discuss the rest of your paragraph. It's so riddled with errors and lack of punctuation that it's appalling.

Stay in school. Get an education.

Be patient. Big huge words usually mean "hey, look at me! I'm trying to sound smart!"
Until you are really at the level and know what the words mean, then you can use the bigger words.
But for now, just stay to the point, and stick with words you know!

If you must, buy a thesaurus. And you'll have lots of words at your disposal to make you sound "smart."

She probably just memorized some big vocabulary words. If you do spelling tests and stuff like that, you could expand your vocabulary. Look up small words in a thesaurus and you will get bigger words that mean the same thing.
