If i plant a radish seed in the soil, and it receives no sunlight, will it actually grow. I will have to measure it after 3 weeks.

So, what do you think the height would most likely be. I think it would be less than 5 inches.

Do you have an idea how much a plant would grow in the dark (no sunlight) after 3 weeks? You can give information about plants in general or about radish plants.

Thank you!

Plants get energy from light.
The seed contains a certain amount of
food energy to get growth started.
When this runs out the plant will die without light.

plants need sunlight for photosynthesis only....light actually inhibits growth. if you plant 2 of the same kind of plants in the exact same conditions except that you put one on a window sill and one in a closet, the one on the window sill will be very green and not so big, but the one in the closet will be much bigger and not so green

I have no idea about radishes specifically, but it will surprise you
