Do you feel that Dog the Bounty Hunter should loose his show on AE because he called his sons girlfriend a ni**er? Keep in mind that this was not part of his show, it was a private conversation that was recorded, the conversation was between him and his son.

I forgive dog. Look how many things and times dog has helped others and told them while showing them how to get better. People only care about this cause he is famous. You dont see anyone unfamous recording private conversations then selling them and media making a big issue. Compare what he has done for hundreds and risked his own life and family to save other peoples lives and families. If he does not get back on the tv, there will be no A&E in this house or my families ever again. I emailed A&E about that too. It just makes me upset how funny people react. They dont care until something bad happens and want to be with the in crowd bad mouthing till he is does something right and then people change minds and go o dog is great he helps so much.

people have thier opinions on thier views and everyone is entitled to it. maybe he does not speak that way in front of his kids. On his shows i know he is an actor but is very respectable but everyone has their own lifestyle so maybe people should be more worried on other things like their own issues and families and just forgive dog. but not to offend anyone but even though some see it right and wrong but its strange and definate a racial issue when we see black people saying N word to each other and yet when white say it all hell break lose but still its just like black see it one way and white another. So if you people against Dog then change the channel and dont complain about it. You have a right to watch wat you want and he has a right to say wat he wants. If he is pulled then i guess that all rap is gone that means bye nelly, eminem, fifty cent, twista, huey, snoop, tupac, g-unit, dre, fat joe, ja, biggie, method man, diddy...wow thats millions of dollars that could used to make the world better. Seems its matter of what you want to watch and listen to but nobody forces you to watch or listen to what you dont want to hear. Guess its just how your raised and how you feel. And i cant say much cause people would be offended but think how you were raised. I was raised like Dog around learning about black people and what the N word is and intended for and ya just cause i would side with dog does not say that i dont like any blacks and matter fact i got like 2 black friends but they dont act black. But its how you grew up, what your family is accustomed to and what your beliefs are and its not illegal to have your own PERSONAL conversation untill it is secretly taped then its invasion of privacy.

I like him and I think he's done alot of good in his community. I don't think he should lose his show and if it was indeed a private conversation, it should stay private.

I think it displays that he is human and isn't perfect all the time, nor does he pretend to be. What I find hypocritical is that if he were a black man and used the same word, no one would blink but since he's not then all the fuss is made about him being racist. He lives in Hawaii which has a large Polynesian/Asian community yet you never hear him saying racist comments about them. While I'm not condoning his behavior, he did spend alot of time on the wrong side of the law in his younger days which is where he likely picked up his rogue attitude. He also says he's a Christian yet most Christians don't cuss even half as much as he does in a single episode. He's not perfect and neither is anyone else so don't act like God and think you can judge anyone.

This really reminds me of a recent southpark episode (Season 11, episode 1, "With Apologies to Jesse Jackson").
You guys should watch it! It almost perfectly describes what happens here.

Besides that, I personally think his show is "dumb" but at the same time I'm completely opposed to him being banned. Sad fact of life is that nearly everyone is racist in private, and we just live in a politically correct society where everyone acts all polite in public.
He did not attack anyone, he said that in private. Punishing him for it is equivilant to punishing someone for their own thoughts, and it sets an awful precedent. The evolution of poltically correct speech is people being incarcerated for not having the right thoughts (there's a famous book on the subject).

From my understanding of the conversation, he was trying to do his best to prevent a bad situation from happening, and then someone was an jerk and leaked it. Technically he deserves to be able to sue whoever leaked it for wrong doing, but no jury would rule in his favor.

Even though what he said was a bit out of line, it was still a private conversation between he and his son that should have never been recorded and released to the public. He should have known to be more careful since he is in the public eye but he should not loose his show. He's white trash with money! But he should keep his show.

The sad thing about this whole situation is dog is big on second chances and helping people out when they are down. He always checks the people he catches for drugs and destroys them just so they don't get a bringing a controlled substance into a facility charge thing added to their laundry list of offenses. Now that Dog is the one in need of a second chance, he is likely not going to get it, because we all know how fair the American court of public opinion is on such cases.

Shame I like the Dog and he has done a lot of good. BUT

Once a person is on a TV show like that they have to sign a moral and ethical value contract. In this contract they have to be on their best on and off camera.

A&E has one of these contracts with Dog and his company and looks like they have pulled it out and plan on using it.

Who cares what he said. Since when did the people in this country become such wussies that if someone says something that offends someone they are automatically villified. Im white, I say the "N" word every day. Ill stop as soon as all of the black people stop saying "whitey""cracker",
"white boy"...etc

No and No, but I don't care for the show anyway. I trying to diffuse the word. I'm tired of people getting up in arms over words. Anyway people give to much power to words. Look at the word "gay" it used to mean happy, but now its a group of people? F that.

It wasn't nice, but he shouldn't loose the show. It was a PRIVATE conversation, not meant for other ears, and even though what he said was wrong and rude, he shouldn't lose the show. It's actully a pretty good show.
