babies have been born at that age and survived! i think its very wrong! why is it legal to do that but i cant just go shoot a little newborn baby and kill it! i mean if they are going to do it which i cant stop them if they were raped or something then they should just do it as soon as they find out! idk how do you feel about this? what can people do to make this illegal or at least where its not legal up to a whole 24 weeks???

don't worrie your not the only one who thinks its wrong i do aswell. I'm against abortions full stop. i believe that if you do the naughty and don't use protection well you deal with it. the only time you should have an abortion is if you have been raped and that's not your fault, but if your going to have an abortion well at least do it when you find out asap because you are right a baby who is killed at 24 weeks pregnant can survive and i thinks its just wrong.

I think that is just plain sick and wrong. When I was pregnant with my son I did not take the test where you can find out if your child might have Down's... To me it didn't matter. He was MY baby and I loved him from the start.
Just before my son turned 2 he was diagnosed with Autism... With all that going on in the news I read something once about stem cell research and maybe someday it being possible to test while you are pregnant to determine if your child will have Autism...
What a horrible frickin idea! My son is so fantastic and amazing. Sure there are things he doesn't do... yet... like speak. But he can communicate. I hope that it is never possible to test for Autism before a baby is born... I would hate to think that there are people out there that would choose to kill their unborn child because he/she is less than "perfect"... People like that have no business having children. I can't see how someone couldn't love THEIR child, disability and all... My son is perfect.
I'm not sure of my views on abortion... I think that there are times, such as if the mother will die... or in the case of rape... But to wait 24 weeks! No, it's just not acceptable...

Agreed. I went into labor with my twins at 21 weeks, and after much difficulty and medical intervention was able to carry them for 6 weeks longer. They weighed only 2lbs at birth and were beautiful. I couldn't believe that some women would have aborted at the same stage where I was having such a difficult time and wanting so badly for them to survive. I guess it doesn't bother me if people make that choice early on, but 24 weeks is 6 months and the baby is very real. My twins are now 5 years old and amazing.

24 weeks is really wrong, thats a baby. As said their are some babies born that stage and live with alot of help. I don't believe in abortion at all. Even in rape, I think you can have the infant then give it up for adoption. The rape victim would need alot of counselling I know, but still. I have a daughter and don't think I could ever do it. But thats my opinion and aborting at 24 weeks is definetly wrong, but I'm in oz.

I personally would NEVER get an abortion, but i am pro-choice. I believe that people have the right to do what they want and until it is illegalized, then there is no point in judging.

You're right, and it's absolutely terrible. If a mom is going to abort she needs to do it early early.
I know we probably can't do anything about it, but you need to look into what happens in China if they find out you're pregnant with a second child. There was a long article in Reader's Digest a few years ago. Absolutely horrifying.

You cant do anything except not do it yourself, if its a law its going to take ALOT to change it and something one person cant do. Good luck with that one.. Best advice if you dont believe in it then dont do it or hang around people that do but to others you have no say so.Their body Their freedom, it may be sad but this is a harsh world. get used to it.

the only way id abort that late was if there was positive proof of an abnormality like down syndrome. and i would. but id put it up for adoption if i didnt want it. but i also wouldnt be a hoe and screw around if i would throw my baby away.
