I wouldn't have almost half of my classes done because most were online classes, which would mean i would be far from getting my bachelors degree, but thank goodness for computers :)

I didn't buy a personal computer until 1998. Without a computer, I communicated with friends on the telephone. I watched cable television for entertainment.
Now I have a multi-media center; cyberspace is a place to meet friends, communicate, learn, and be entertained. I flip a switch and watch DVDs in high def.
I can look up the news, on any subject, any time I want, rather than sitting through a news broadcast and being fed what the show's producer thinks I want to see. I can pick and choose what I want to learn more about.

Wouldn't have: word processor, map quest, on line reservations and menus, on line banking, only reference material/research, instant messages/E-Mails, on line matchmaking, on line court/property/criminal records, online genealogy research, online white/yellow pages, no Y/A, and the list goes on and on.
