YES!! All antibiotics can mess up the pill, if you are using them please use condoms unless you want to be pregnant. My cousin just had baby number 6 because she was on the pill and antibiotics. Good luck.

Yes it is a antibiotic, any antibiotic can decrease the chances of the pills from working. If you gonna have sex while taking them make sure you use some other from of protection like condoms. I know people who got pregnant while on birth control and antibiotics.

You should ALWAYS let the doctor prescribing ANY medication and the pharmacist know if you are on ANY type of medication so they can tell you if one will affect the other.

READ your pamphlet that came with your birth control!

thats how i came along actually... so definatly... your doctor should be telling u think when he gives u meds if he knows ur on the pill if hes not hes not doing his job that well because if u dont want kids (or someone else) they might end up. me i was an accident and fully proud of it ha but someone might not feel the same way if they got pragnant. just be careful next couple weeks and u should be fine
