I never received or used a Cashiers check before so I have a little question to ask. If I was to request a Cashiers check as donation from of an individual that is not in the same area as I, then would he/she send the check to my bank or home address?

Have him send the check to your home address. Then take it to the bank and cash or deposit it.

there are so many cashier check scams going on right now, I don't know it a bank will cash it... such a shame that crooks have ruined it for honest people.... However, it should be sent to you and then you will need to take it to your bank....

DO NOT accept a cashiers check if someone is asking you to send cash back to them.... That is the biggest scam going on right now....
~good luck and be careful..

It would be best to send it to your bank,Cause no one really wants to cash cashier checks you'd have a hard time if you found anyone to cash it so to your account.
