If you just talked about it on the phone, went home booked the hotel and tickets on the internet. And plan on getting married Saturday.

Crazy?

I tend to over think things. I have missed opprotunities by over analyzing things. Maybe doing something out of character will bring a different result.

Hmmm..I guess some could say its "crazy"
but honestly, I think that its a personal choice.
I also think they youre marriage will have just a good a chance of surviving as people who have known each other for a year.
The divorce rates are so hight these days its a 50/50 thing in my book.
If you think its a logical choice for YOU, then by all means go for it!

I've seen people that have only known each other of a week and get married and are still 25 yrs. later still married. I have known couples that have been together for 20 yrs. and finally get married only to be divorced in a month. It's a strange thing. Good Luck, whatever you decide.

This rushing in never worked for me. my grandmother only knnew my grandfather for two weeks when they married and they had five children and stayed together. I don;t think my granfather was the best though because he drank . I have had very bad experiences when I rushed into relationships and it always was bad. Everything from the guy being on drugs to leeching off me from being a cheater and also physically abusive. It ended in divorce more than once because I could not learn the lesson do not rush into it it is very risky.

no it is dumb and dangerous!you do not know anything about this guy ,he may be married to someone else,an ex-convict,a child molester or rapist or a serial killer.or maybe he is a really nice loser who wants to mooch off you and take half of everything you own in a divorce.or maybe he will get a huge life insurance policy and collect when you have a tragic accident! way too fast!!! do not do it!!!! if you really do not know his background ,family or past get it checked out first! marriage is a serious commitment and should not be taken lightly!!! do not rush this if it is a good idea now it should be a good idea a year from now!!! and do not get pregnant cause then you are tied to what might be a jerk and a loser forever!!!!good luck!

Sounds unpredictable and fun - I say go for it!

My husband asked me to go ring shopping the month after we met, he proposed 3 months later so I kinda did the same thing...we just planned out a big detailed wedding a year and a half after that!

It's crazy but I see nothing wrong with it. You never know. There are those who have known each other for years and it doesn't work and then those who met one night, got married and it worked so think about that!

I think that you should be very careful and think real good before you do anything. it is your choice and everything may not seem to be what it is when you meet him and get to know him personally, face to face. do you really know what kind of background this guy have, weather it is good or bad? If it was me I would not,but be careful and Good Luck!
