Such as myself....listen to sad music when they're sad? Aren't you suppose to listen to happy music to get happy?

yes when a i m sad i some times listen to sad music but i mostly listen to happy music because i love music

Misery loves company. If you are feeling sad, you usually don't want to feel happy, you want to stay sad, so you listen to sad music becuase it's something you can relate to.

I know all too well what you mean. When I'm down I usually listen to the City of Angels sound track. Makes me cry like a baby but then I feel so much better after a good cry, maybe that's why.....

No because when you're sad you just want to run with it. Its a feeling, an emotion, a part of life. You cant just cover it up with a smile, sometimes its nice to feel sad so you appreciate the happier times.

When you are sad listen to Dreamer by Ozzy Osbourne. Its so weird because it is a happy song he wrote. At first I thought it was a joke.

i do the same thing. sometimes it can be hard to listen to happy music when your sad. your just not in the mood for it.

It's cuz you're in a sad mood and you just want to be by yourself for a little bit to think about what happened. Then you'll get over it and be happy.
