My husband and I are expecting boy/girl twins. We have some names we both agree on. Now all we need is middle names.

i like spencer and cara they just seem like smart middle names. They are all good names that just means you have good taste.

James and Cora are easily my favorites. Simply classic, yet they still manage to sound refreshing -- and quite complimentary together! ;)
Judging from these lists, you're equally comfortable with common or unusual choices, so your middle name options are wide open. The first that came to mind based on these were Cora Madeleine and James Fletcher.
Since you mentioned that Leonardo is shortened to Leo and Rodney Jackson to R.J., I'm curious if you've thought about possible nickname options for these as well? I'm only asking because Cordelia, nicknamed Cora, would totally fit with Leonardo (Leo), Rodney (R.J.) and James (nickname Jem? Jamie?). Again, just curious. ;)
Edited to add: Per an above comment, you might want to consider the Irish name Kane (Anglicization of Cathan). Completely different origin. Also, I'd avoid pairing Mia with a word name BECAUSE of the literal word association there. It just tends to come across as overly cutesy, rather than well-thought-out (as I'm sure you're already aware). :) Like the couple I know that named their daughter Mia Bella JUST so they could call her "my pretty" (go ahead and cackle ... I mentally did LOL). Likewise, the suggestion of Mia Marie is rather redundant. I'd seriously avoid using two versions of the same exact name. Bit of a waste, don't you agree? ;)

James is nice for a boy. Maybe James Lee or James Anthony or James Cooper? All of your girl names are really pretty! I don't know if I can decide on a favorite! But I think Cora Rose would be pretty. Rose is a really nice middle name for any of them though. Hope that helped a bit and a huge congrats to your twins!
