Yes. The president is too friendly with Saudi Arabia and came into office with his own agenda. He would never punish those who actually committed this atrocity. He just needed an excuse to attack Iraq. Cheney just helped make it happen, because Bush is too dumb to do it himself. If anyone else were VP, he would have done the same thing as Bush would never choose a running mate who doesn't support his warped agenda.

check out the poster 'all hail george w bush: i bet he loves his guns, drives a red pickup and has never left the state. He's the kind of american that keeps the likes of bush in power. The fact that there were no WMD's in Iraq meant that under international law - the invasion was illegal. Kinda like Poland in 1939! Im not a liberal by any means, my opinions on uk immigration are proof of that, but i know a total f**k up when i see one.
But if you guys wanted a sequel to Vietnam - you got it!

No, he saw an opportunity to make money and seized it.
He would not listen to Colin Powell's advice not to invade Iraq, that is one of the major reasons that Colin Powell did not serve a second term. Colin Powell has since grown very tired of the Neocons, and will probably vote for Barack Obama next year.
Bush has surrounded himself with horrible advisers and most of them are afraid of Dick Cheney.

It's very doubtful. We would have stayed focused on capturing Bin Laden. But of course capturing Bin Laden might bring an abrupt end to American support for the "War on Terror" and that would be bad for business. The "War on Terror" is supposed to last indefinitely.

Cheney likely would still have been an advisor, with the same influence over Dubya, so yes, most likely. Even had he died of his first heart attack, Wolfie & Rummy would still have been there to carry on.

Chi guy is notorious for asking the most vapid questions. IT should be posited as, "If 9-11 not happened, would the US have invaded Iraq?"
Another check in the column for the intellectual genius & curiosity of chi guy, yahoo answers resident political genius, and political rhetoric dissertation savant!!!
Where do you want the gold star this time chi guy? Tell me.
