450 miles....BY CHOICE

About 200 miles, right now. But I have lived all over the world... I only live this close to where I was born because I move back to the family home when I retired and my parents died.

Actually about 7 miles. I've lived, in my adult life, in Kentucky, Tennessee and New York, had my higher education in Maryland and Ohio, but I've been back in the Pittsburgh area for about 16 years. It is where both sets of grandparents settled in the early 1900's.
This was definitely by choice. I love it here!

I was born in Miami Beach, my mother moved (back to) Los Angeles and later Nevada, and then I moved to Honolulu.
Later, I moved to New York City and while there I lived in Europe for six months. I later returned to Honolulu.
So I moved about 5,000 from where I was born, and moved a total of 32,000 miles to all the places I've lived.

About 6000 miles (I think). Winnipeg, Manitoba to Switzerland.
The first 1000, I had no choice, I was a child. The other 5000 was a choice.

May be five miles..Not far, although i the hospital i was born in is no longer there....Strange. I still remember that place and where it used to stand and the last time i was there was when i was 5yrs old...Good memory or bad memories...hmmmm....
