Just being there for her is the best thing a TRUE friend could do. I had people I called friends in school. Instead of helping me through my hard times they did not want to be friends cause I depressed them. Be there for her.

*sigh*, I do hate to be the one to bring bad and ugly news here, but I have a very strong feeling that your man is cheating on you, all the classic signs !! Been married for 32 years, and been there and done that.... we worked it out, but it was NOT an easy road to travel ... He is finding every and all excuses to make YOU look like the bad guy in all this.... Buying a new dog may not have been a smart move on your part though, for the simple fact, that it is another *excuse* for him to be angry, and maybe there are *other* reasons ?? maybe he is tired of working and working and working and watching all the money go places he has no say so in and or just plain ole tired ???? I suggest strongly you sit down, NO KIDS around, send them to mom for a few hours and hash all this out before it really is to late to turn it around ... write down ALL you want to say or ask so you do not get side tracked.... Try not to play the blame game, just keep it simple and to the point ... what is the matter ? What has happened ? Is there reason(s) why he feels he can not stay at home ? dig deep.... WARNING - you may not like what you hear or find out, but if is better to know what you are dealing with, and just maybe, MAYBE it can be fixed !!!! go in peace..... God bless

I think the oldest you can possibly be is a teenager. Please forgive me if I am wrong.

You need to use your own words, to convey the fact that your friend's parents are getting a divorce does not mean that they love your friend any less. You need to say that sometimes kids take the blame for it.

You need to invite your friend to share her feelings with you, but do not force her to do so.

All you can do is be there for her if she needs someone to talk to.

If its a nasty divorce then maybe she wants to stay with you until its all over you can talk to her about it and if she agrees talk together with her and her parents.

Its nice that your so concerned just be there for her when she needs a friend. :)
tell her that everyone will be okay and get through this

Just be there for her fully. Also, be a stand that she doesn't make their divorce mean anything about her. Whatever is going on is going on with them and has nothing to do with her.

First of all. Do not put so much pressure on yourself. You are not going to be able to make the situation any better by anything you can say or do.

Just be there for her. Keep encouraging her to share her feelings with you. Be her safe harbor and pray for all parties involved.

Good luck.

Just lend a listening ear. Let her know you are sorry to hear about her situation and that you are there to listen to her. Sometimes that is all someone needs.

you just need to be there for her and listen to her when she talks to you and listen to her when she talks about it because if you just go up to her at random and say something she might be sad because she might be trying to clear her mind so you never know.

Just tell her that you are sorry about that and that you are there for her if and when she needs you. She is going to need you.
