I heard that it's intended to "kill God", and will have books written to back up it's message. It's disguised as some kiddie movie, so don't be fooled and take your kids to see it --- you'll get a surprise. Going to see the movie will support it, so if you don't agree with the message, don't go. Shame on Nicole Kidman.

Am I off base on this one?

i just read something about this

yes apparently in the end of the movie the children kill God but idk if there will be books about it

i think kids should be allowed to see it if they want they should be able to think whatever they like about God

The film is based on a book which was published in 1995, and is the first in a trilogy. I read all three about a year ago...and the books are no more "anti-God" than the Harry Potter books.

Oh, and I am a Christian.

no way whoever told u that is wrong like i read the book all my friends have read the book no its just a story not even realated to god if u don't belive me read the book
