I had fun! The cutest thing was seeing a little 3 year old trudge across my monstrous lawn in a cute elephant suit (complete with floppy ears!)...for literally 5 minutes. The little guy took forever to get to my doorstep! :)

I had the whole yard lit up, as well as my porch with orange and purple lights, and got carried away with the spider web - had 100+ spiders - it was a spider party! It was great - It was so fun watching the kids reaction as they came up on the porch and were surrounded with spider web and a little witch that makes fog in her pot - the "trick" is to NOT leave the candy where they can get it - and if you hand it out to them, then they cant take big handfuls. I always give out a pretty good candy/w a cheaper one - but I really like Smartees! I also put candy, a balloon, some stickers, and a spider ring in a treat bag this year. Usually I get the little plastic pumpkin cups - but didn't this year. I like making it special for the kids. - it makes it more fun for me. Some of the bigger (14 & ^) kids just got a couple of pieces of candy and not the treat bags.

the two get a depended on and sturdy individual to sit down down with the cat at the same time as you go out trick or treating, or have the substantial different stay abode with the cat. do no longer permit the cat exterior for any reason (you in all danger does no longer besides). it rather is sturdy which you problem to your puppy. there is not any rationalization why you mustn't be hectic inclusive of your animals besides by way of fact the youngsters. do no longer hear to everybody who tells you to fret approximately your little ones and in basic terms the youngsters. those people who permit you already know that are specie-ists. i'm very dissatisfied to hearken to that different cats are harmed on Halloween. Throw those human beings in the slammer and throw away the significant. i'm hoping kitty is effective this year.

Very enjoyable. We only had 3, 2 nieces and one nephew. But we passed the candy out to the adults who brought them over. So we loaded the kids and adults down and still have plenty left over to munch ourselves. Love handing the candy out. And had a very good time doing it, even if my mask did scare one nephew. He wouldn't take candy till I took the mask off. So make that two nephews. Lost count. I hear my Grandson in Arizona had a very good time. Got loaded down. And loved it. He is only 3 so he is learning. Proud of him I am.

We had about 30 kids....not as many as I hoped. But those that showed up were thrilled...I handed out full size candy bars and handfuls of mini-cans of Play Doh (still have at least 20 cans left though!!). I also gave extra handfuls of mini candy bars and toys (I had left over Happy Meal toys for toddlers that had never been unwrapped...so I gave them out too!)

More kids need to come by next year!!

Had 2 kids show up, when the time was almost over. Only kids who came all night. Gave them each a good handful.
