As far as those who surrendered to the Allies. Italy surrendered first, then joined the allies. Germany surrendered next and the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki showed the Japanese they had no chance. They were the last to surrender.
WWII technically started when France and Britain declared war on Germany after the invasion of Poland. So any surrenders before that were technically not part of WWII, just of Hitler's Campaign to dominate Europe.
