First, take a little more time when you type. How about these: balancing your checkbook, lottery, calculating mortgage rates or financing a car, determining the winner of a stock car race, the score of a football game, measuring the temperature of your house, determining the correct size of the tires for a car, seeing how many months till vacation, measuring for the size of your shoes or pants, playing music on the piano (check that one out because of the mathematics of music).

Cooking (especially if you double a recipe). Figuring out what time you should go to bed in order to get enough sleep to get up for work/school the next day. Adding up your hours on your time sheet. Tipping a waitress, hairdresser, etc. Finding change for a toll road (if all you have is different small change).

I am assuming you mean "math"? Exchanging dollars against the currency of a country you plan to visit; playing cards; computing mileage on a car.
