Aggression is merely an expression of fear and doubt. When you can't deal with something rationally, because it threatens you or you don't feel you have the tools, or you might look foolish or weak, then attack. So it comes off looking like strength but it isn't.

Kind of a self-serving way to look at it if you ask me. IMO, aggressiveness is attempted power without social or negotiating skills.
You'll have to try better to spin aggression into a positive.
