It IS possible. This website has a step by step instruction that shows you how, it even has pics. It's free and you don't have to download anything. It took me like 5 min to do it and then another 15 min to get my 500 songs from my iPod to my computer.

Use Music Rescue which can be found here:

http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/musicrescue/

Its a free program that lets you copy all your music in the iPod into your computer. After the copying is done, you can then drag it into iTunes :D

u can only move mp3's from your comp to your ipod not the other way
