i "inhertitate" 2 tiny little terrapins.
they tank that they came in isn't very big or nice.
i have got a 4ft fish tank with a large variety of fish such as guppies, tetra fish, 1 sucker fish and other fresh water fish.
could i put them in there if i put one or two floating docks in there? would they be ok to live in there?
thanks

If you want to have both, get fast fish, and/or fish too large for the turtle to catch. Gouramis come to mind. Three-spot gouramis should be able to hold their own.

The turtles would be fine, but the fish would be lunch... Terrapins would not hesitate to take out all your fish, and keep the tank for themselves. Unless you get another tank, you will have to choose between the turtles and the fish...

EDIT: Gouramis are not terribly fast, and the Three Spot Gourami certainly isn't large enough to avoid being eaten by an adult turtle...

you're able to do it. Ive seen it performed with assorted diverse kinds of fish. for sure you do run the prospect of him ingesting fish yet once you experience as though your tank is great adequate for it i could say choose for it.
