Yes I realize this has been asked before, and there is a very simple reason I am asking it again...hmm....in fact, I think I'll let that be part of the question too:

What simple, logical reason is there for reasking an old question?

Oh, check back to this question later for another edit to the details....unless of course someone posts the right answer :)

Ok....here it is:

A pound of feathers weighs more.

A pound is not a pound, but an ounce is an ounce.

There are 16 ounces in a pound....well, in almost everything. For precious metals such as silver, gold and a few others however, there are only 12 ounces in a pound.

Oops...forgot to give you the answer to the 2nd question:

All the answers to the previous questions asked on this were wrong.....which is a simple, logical reason for asking again :D

A pound is a pound is a pound.

The reason you may asking this again is that people seem to getting dumber. We don't exercise our brain enough to use logic anymore.

Actually, an ounce isn't an ounce either. A troy ounce is about 31.1 g, while an avoirdupois ounce is about 28.35 g.
