It's all right. But some people have a hard time pronouncing it because it's a foreign name (at least here in the US) , so I use a one-syllable nickname that everybody can say.

I'm satisfied with the name Eric. It sure beats the name "Christian" (what my parents were at first planning on naming me).

When I was much younger I hated it. "Hey Candy, you want a piece of candy?" or 'Is that you stripper name or real name?" or "Are youas sweet as your name?". Now I consider it a youthful name and love it-except my middle name is Bar ( This is true. My parents used drugs).

My maiden name sounded good and luckily my first and middle name sound good with my husbands last name. I don't like my first name, Sarah, it is so plain and ordinary, and you can't shorten it.
