I am workinf with 4 first grade students who are above grade level in their reading, they are between 2nd and 3rd grade readers. I have been having a reading group with them and I have been getting them to write. Like writing on the 5 w's for the story we read. However, I think it is too easy for them and I'm not giving them a challenge. Any fun creative ideas for writing with the girls. I already have letter writing and procedural writing. Please help anything else?
