what inspired you to form a band? who are some of your musical influences? and how long before you break up?

1) Can you read music or do you just "wing" everything?
2) How do you respond to people who opine that your "songs" are really not music at all, but really just a bunch of high pitched off-key electronic impulses that really qualify more as obnoxious noise with a beat?
