No. I don't live in the Dark Ages. I wouldn't be interested in being with a woman who expected me to dictate my demands to her. And "obey" me? Wow, talk about a serious lack of self-esteem on her part. I've been in a long-term relationship for years with a very strong, independent woman, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The word "obey" seems more fit for a child-parent relationship.
The man can provide leadership, protection and guidance (as in the Phantom and Christine's equal relationship from the Phantom of The Opera) but to order the wife what to do or dictate what she is not allowed to do, seems too paternalistic.

That is what our bible says and i try to follow that rule, but i believe woman should have equal say in how a home is run and how that they should both follow each other in being the head of the house... but the bible clearly states that the man i the spiritual leader of the house and that he must lead the house to religion and keep it in order...

Hell no. Never. I believe the men should obey women. XD But at least in my household, the man will never be the head of the household. Ever.

You THOUGHT! Men may be ahead of the house, but why do women do all the work in the house? Men need to take care of their things themselves!

Of course! That is what it says in the Bible, except that women are the weaker vessel so the men need to protect us :)
