look, the recovery process only resets the computer settings to factory settings i.e as they were at the time of purchasing. It's got nothing to do with ur email ID. coz the email ID is stored on the mail server you use for ex. gmail or yahoomail. So, be chilled, ur email ID is totally safe and sound!
and yeah, don't ever use recovery disc again until a system crash occurs, okey??

No your email address should be okay. If you use Outlook Express or Outlook you just need to re-enter all your details. Webmail will be unaffected.
