Do you make a shopping list prior to shopping or do you just pick random items?

I'm a list girl with coupons! My coupon book is even arranged by aisle number (I only shop at one store for groceries). The reciepts keep track of how much money I save by using my card, and I love seeing how much I save compared to what I spend. I've managed to save more money than I spend on several occasions!

Hehe, that was way more info then you asked for...don't mind me I get excited about grocery shopping. :P

I am on a tight budget so I make a list from the weekly specials at 3 of our market and on a Wenesday afternoon I visit each, comparing prices at each, but I will not go back to a store if someone else's prices.
As a rule I have a mental note of what a good buy is.

I have to buy non-corn items and items that dont use corn byproducts. I spend a large amount of time looking at labels at the store.

Ive found several items such as pepperage farms "goldfish" that are corn safe, so i always pick up the items that i know are good. but i dont have a list. It might help though

I make a list. Even if I forget to bring the list, I will still remember 90% of what I had to get due to the power of writing. That's why you should write notes in class, even if you never read them again. It's been proven over and over that writing something down helps you remember it and it's really true, from my experience.

I always make a shopping list. If I didn't I'd definitely spend to much money.
