I need help,
Explain the surface circulation of the south Pacific Ocean and how it changes during an El nin event.

I think, it's a natural occurrence in the oceans around the equator. During El Nino the waters in the Pacific around the equator are warmer. (and I think they get more typhoons in the Pacific at this time). Then the pattern shifts and we get the same thing in the Atlantic around the equator. Then we get more hurricanes in the Atlantic. It's basically a warming pattern that move back and forth.
