As far as I know, that would depend on the size big and go with the average size for each type of bed. I believe that Queen size is the most common. That is 60" x 84".

Certainly answer number one offers a valid suggestion.
Standard is probably not strictly a word that can be used.
Consider first; 4 different bed sizes; then define how much larger than the actual bed measurement you'd like the Quilt.

It depends on the size of your bed..I bought a queen size quilt for a queen size bed and I don't like it..too small..so I got the large quilt to put on top of my queen size bed..I was happy and satisfied.it looks nice on my bed.

What size is your bed? The size of your top sheet or a little shorter would be a good size.

the biggest one is "King size", before that is "queen", then "Double" and smallest is "single"!
