did the colonists of colonial connecticut trade with the natives there? if you could show your source that would be great so i could learn about it more. thanks!

In contrast to many of the other New England areas, relations between Native Americans and the early settlers in Connecticut were good. Trading posts were established along the Connecticut River by the Dutch from New Amsterdam and by the English from the Plymouth colony, before the first permanent European settlers came to the state.
